Dr. Kimberly Smith

With over 25 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and Leadership, Dr. Smith is a highly accomplished expert in child development, program administration, and strategic planning. She has a proven track record of building organizational capacity and strengthening communities through education.

Throughout her career, Dr. Smith has held executive roles, including VP of Strategic Initiatives for a non-profit, Director of a multi-million-dollar grant-funded research center, Executive Director for Early Head Start programs, and Director of a family literacy program. Early in her career, she gained valuable experience in childcare, working as a curriculum manager, center director, literacy coach, and teacher.

In addition to her hands-on experience with children, families, and communities, Dr. Smith has taught Early Childhood Education at the collegiate level for over a decade. As an entrepreneur and published author, she has also written children's books such as You Were Designed to Shine and You Are Destined to Win.
